On September 10, 2016, " the 20th session of the lecture on understanding the future - challenging the forefront of science: life science and artificial intelligence " jointly sponsored by the future forum and the University of New York Shanghai Branch. The lecture invited scientists and entrepreneurs in the fields of life science and artificial intelligence to come together and have a cross-border dialogue with scientists and science popularization workers in Shanghai NYU and Natural Research. Dr. Lu Xianping, the president and chief scientific officer of CHIPSCREEN BIOSCIENCES, was invited to attend the lecture.

During the cross-border dialogue, Dr. Lu Xianping and Ms. Mary Dicristina, the editor-in-chief of Scientific American, Professor Wu Sun, the vice-president of Fudan University's affiliated tumor hospital, and Dr. Xu Xiaochun, the chairman of Peking University's Boya translational medicine research institute, were the keynote guests to discuss the current cutting-edge technologies and innovative concepts in the medical field such as precision medicine, as well as the development prospect and market opportunities of the life science industry in China.

In the history of 3 million-year evolution, mankind may be facing the best time: precision medicine helps us to live a longer and healthier life. Cancer is one of the major causes of death in the world at present. In the battle between human beings and tumors, the investment research in basic science that lasted for several decades has finally yielded some results. Today, many outstanding scientists in the world are dedicated to biotechnology research. Through various technical means such as precision medical treatment and immunotherapy, combined with traditional surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, millions of lives will be brought with hope of being healthy. In the future, cancer will no longer be a terrible word. We will usher in the best era of combining precision medicine with artificial intelligence to help human health. At the same time, the economic development of related industries driven by it will also be immeasurable.
